Our beautiful girl died this afternoon at about 2.45pm as her cardiac catheter procedure was coming to an end. Pippa's heart stopped and could not be restarted. There was nothing more that could be done.
We were with her at the end.
We will post funeral arrangements in the coming days.
Justine, Erin and Trigby,

ReplyDeleteMy words are incapable of conveying the sense of sadness that comes with reading this post. I have been following closely and hoping so hard and so often for Pippa and for your family. Words also cannot express the love and strength that I send you all now. I hope someone else's words will offer you comfort during this difficult time;
ReplyDeleteWhen you are sorrowful look again in your heart, and you shall see that in truth you are weeping for that which has been your delight.
Some of you say, "Joy is greater thar sorrow,"
and others say, "Nay, sorrow is the greater."
But I say unto you, they are inseparable.

We pray that God's peace will be with you, Erin and Justin and Trigby. We are so sorry that beautiful Pippa has passed away. Today is the first anniversary of our baby surviving her own open heart surgery when she was 10 weeks old - a large muscular VSD and an ASD causing heart failure - and we have tears in our eyes as we realise that you have lived our worst fears. We hope that Kim from Heart Kids will be able to visit with you soon and you will feel supported and loved by the other parents of Heart Kids. We will keep praying for you!!
